Ruth Hingston is a visual artist, designer and illustrator. She lives in Canberra, Australia's capital, with her husband Tim Brook.
Ruth's work explores the responses people have to interior and exterior spaces - landscape, houses and domestic life.
This sketch book reflects the nature of her street and suburb - the lives and activities of neighbours, pets, native flora and fauna.
