Life; Paralyzed

by Christina Symanski Freehold, NJ, United States

theme: Help!

project: The Sketchbook Project: 2011

In June 2005 I was paralyzed from my chest down in a diving accident. I'm an artist. I enjoy working in oil paints & creating digital art on my iPad. I create my artwork by mouth. I enjoy teaching others about paralysis through my artwork. I worked as an art teacher (K-12) prior to my accident.

Christina, this is a most amazing piece of work.
I am awed and inspired by your courage and fortitude. You are teaching us how to be human, how to be alive and how to continue despite immense difficulty.Thank you.
