collecting objects

We are sending out mini accordion file folders. We want you to take them with you and fill them up with all of your personal objects - including receipts, ticket stubs, lists, Polaroids, or anything else that defines you and your life.

There are objects that connect us all. Everyday things like movie stubs and grocery lists. These objects are personal and say so much about us. We all have a desire to look into another persons personal life. With this project, we want to give you that chance. After we get the accordion folders back, we are going to have a gallery show with all the folders, allowing people to peer into your life... even if it's just a little glimpse.

Deadline extended

Due to not receiving many sign ups, we have decided to extend the sign up deadline of the show as well as the show itself. Please keep checking the dates at the top and the website for up to date info!

•You WILL NOT be able to get your stuff back, so please do not send us something you want back. This is a collective art project. It's for fun!

•Entry fee covers the cost of accordion folder and shipping to you.

•Everything must be postmarked by August 18th. No exceptions.

•You can include anything you want as long as it fits in your folder and your folder can still close!

•You are free to manipulate your folder, as long as its shape stays the same.

P.S. We love Polaroid's.
