AMLP in San Fran
February 13, 2008
We're on our way to San Francisco tonight to set up for the A Million Little Pictures at 111 Minna Gallery on Friday from 12pm-9pm! We hope to see all of you Californians there!

We are sending out mini accordion file folders. We want you to take them with you and fill them up with all of your personal objects - including receipts, ticket stubs, lists, Polaroids, or anything else that defines you and your life. Then, we're going to throw a gallery show with all of the accordion folders, free for people to browse through.
Sign up, make 22 prints, send them to us, then receive prints from 20 random people around the country in your mailbox! The theme is "I have never been in any of my neighbor's houses." Take that for what it is. Go with it and have fun!
We're sending out 500 sketchbooks. You fill them and send them back. Then we throw a show with all of the books lining tables around our gallery, free for everyone to flip through and view.
This is true artist collaboration at its finest. People sign up and they are put on a list with 9 other artists. We send a canvas to the first artist. They work on it and then mail it to the next artist in the list. It keeps going down the line until it finds its way back to us, where upon we post pictures of the canvas on the website, throw a show for a bunch of the canvases, and sell/auction them off for charity.
