My first name is Rachel. I'm 35. I live in Australia, and grew up mostly in the Philippines. My partner, Greg, is a glassblower. We have a beautiful daughter who turns 2 in Nov 09. I do lampworking, drawing, Artist Trading Cards, mosaics, Fimo, jewelry-making, etc, etc. I'm a member (and Firefly- a helper) at Milliande's Art Community For Women. That is where I truly feel at home, and i love the close-knit community there. I'm doing the Sketchbook project, and my theme is "end of the world". This will get me thinking! :O)

		shannon weed over 2 years hi rachel! great to meet you :) thanks for your comment about my photos--i LOVE imagery; no way around it. i had a blast taking those shots--i have far more photos than i could ever print, but that's okay. the joy comes from the process. i look forweard to seeing your work and getting to know you. i had to giggle when i saw your name catstiptoes...nothing against you--but that is similar to what i said to each of my cats as i was leash training them. before they got the idea to walk with me i used the term tippytoes tippytoes to give them a signal word. pretty goofy i know--but it worked. take care rachel!
