I love all kinds of art, bold colors, heavy outline, the contrasts of black and white and especially all types of printmaking! I moved to St. Petersburg FL from the fabulous Twin Cities of MN to pursue my other passion SCUBA diving. I miss the seasonal changes of the midwest but am making the most of my FL experience. Artistically I'm inspired by things in nature and mythology/world cultures. I most strongly relate to the german expressionist art movement. I have recently become involved with mail art exchanges and love it! I get a thrill from sending mail art to total strangers and like to imagine their finding it in their mailbox is a happy surprise. Although printmaking is my favorite, I also do paintings, drawings, stained glass (sometimes but not as much as I used to) sewing projects... I love things to make and do and am happiest in my studio with my cat and my radio.

I'm sorry if any of the information was misleading when dealing with Reproductions/printmaking differences, i'd hoped the article had made clear my lack of much Printmaking knowledge, and so i'd tried an alternative approach. I thin the article has been updated so as not to confuse others too much, and any advice on proper Printmaking knowledge is greatly appreaciated. I hope to make more traditional prints in any upcoming projects i work on. Shop talk aside, your print for the Exchange looks great, i can't wait to see what everyone has produced when my pack arrives!
		lindsey morris over 2 years i love the way you cut. i really enjoy the rawness of relief prints. i recently started cutting out my linoleum into shapes. but i like that you did a whole composition in a shape. very inspiring to see another interpretation of the media.
