Karin Bartimole

I am a mixed media artist working primarily in the realm of book arts. I share bookbinding tutorials on YouTube, and you can join me onFacebook and Twitter, too!! I paint, draw, collage, print, bind my own books and work within altered books. I work with book arts as interactive sculptures - created to be interesting as forms on their own, but longing to be experienced more fully, by opening and paging through each layer of the piece. The book is the most expressive art form I have worked in; an intimate journey that allows for close interaction with the viewer and art. Other interests include gardening, yoga, sustainability, the environment, veganism, and meditation. I am married to a kind and wonderful man, and we live with our dog, cat, and fish!
