I was born in Chicago Ill.  In the mid 1970's I moved to Central Wisconsin. My artwork often reflects a blend of my Chicago attitude, energy and perspective, sprinkled with a touch of the north woods flavor. My work ranges from  Intaglio Printmaking, surrealistic charcoal drawings, photography, collage, paper sculptures and textile design. My collages can be found on the Web at the International Collage Exchange directed by Dale Copeland. I've been seilling my original prints to art galleries for the past seven years.  Collectively, I've been teaching art for the past 35 years for the UW Extension Programs and Marshfield YMCA.  My greatest discoveries evolve from the artistic process of play.           The power of play and the ability to listen to my inner voice are the substance and motivation of my artwork .

For me, art is all about process and most paticularly play, or free form expression.  I admire that you made art a career and through that, were able to give so much to so many over the years, I'm sure!  I love your work!  Envy you your topic for the Sketchbook Project (monsters...kewl!).  I have How to Save the World, and will definitely work monsters in somehow!  Waves from a fellow "Milliander"!
