I am a London based artist and I exhibit widely here in the UK and abroad. Although known for my sculptural work, I am also an illustrator, print maker, painter, and in 2008 John Malkovich chose my script as the winning entry in the Sony VAIO Scriptwriting competition. This script, along with John Malkovich's and two others was then turned into an animation, ‘Snow Angel’. In November 2005 I was awarded a bursary from the Royal British Society of Sculptors (RBS) and am now an associate member. As well as my work appearing in galleries, magazines and on TV, my sculptures have appeared in the recent feature film, 'Scratch', directed by Jakob Rørvik. I've also run schools workshops and recently ran a weekly sculpture workshop for the employees of ING Bank. The majority of my sculptural work involves the reworking and assemblage of found objects/materials. Materials that I feel have a certain ‘resonance’. Much of my work centers on the theme of memory or its fallibility. This is more strongly evident in the pieces that incorporate or recreate childhood artifacts and toys. Another re-occurring theme or motif in my work is that of the wheeled box or tower, which represents containment, the urge to possess and restricted mobility.

		lindsey morris over 1 year THANK YOU. I love your sculptures. the assemblage pieces with the aged objects brings in the dimension of time. its not easy to find the right objects sometimes for the comcept and you have done a wonderful job at it.
