I'm  54 year-old woman who has been an artist since childhood and a professional artist since 1976.  Born in NJ, I lived in Texas from 1993-2006 and on the Pacific coast of Meico from 2006-2008.  I'm now living in Union City, NJ, next to NYC and a great place, primarily Latino, with a stimulating and loving  populace. I work in wood, layered, wood-burned and painted constructions, and I also paint in black and white gesso on board.  My themes are often historical or political.  Recently I have been doing paintings of my past, and constructions dealing with dreams and systems that people use to explain or augment their lives. I have exhibited my work all over the US and in Canada, and have worked as an illustrator for periodicals, books and album covers. I love the idea of participation in projects and desire that all art becomes accessible to all people and a part of their lives.
