  Each day finds me in the studio, trying to get it "right."  Fifteen years ago I moved to NM, and have fallen in love with the desert, it is truly the land of enchantment.  My current series is called Desert Poetry based on observations or ideas about the desert, as actual place or metaphor.  I am returning to the investigation of the grid, which I have been working with since 1986, creating a map in the form of a visual poem of my own; to map the desert, to find my way, and to understand this unknown place that is the artist's personal desert.   Unlike popular thought about the desert, it is a place where anything is thinkable.
