Anne Tait's artwork straddles areas of historic preservation, art history
and fine arts. .
Anne Tait executes her fine-arts work predominately in the area of
printmaking, with photography research, drawing and painting serving
the ultimate print. The multi-faceted approach she uses to arrive at
her final product results in both scholarly accomplishments and pieces
of art. Through past sources and empirical observations of memorial
art, this exhibition reveals the importance of vernacular artwork in
the marble headstones of the 19th century as a means to better understand our place in history.
