Christianne, I do a sketchbook of ‘doodles’ as a meditation. I begin by using a mark from my ‘alphabet' of mark combinations. I can then proceed by introducing marks in new combinations. The activity of being conscious to the rhythm create’s a peaceful state of mind.

beautiful image Christine, I love the lines .. are you a printmaker ? its not hard, or it wasnt last year, jus a bit of getting used to the process, with uploading images. you fiddle around then it works after a while! its a good thing for keeping you to a time for getting stuff done, fun. good luck!

Thanks Jill - I'm afraid I've not completed a book for the 2011 project, so it won't be on the Seatle tour. I've only just signed up for the 2012 project, so you'll have to wait a little while yet to see my completed Sketchbook :-)
