David Sabio

Love some science and love some art; so I blend them. I primarily illustrate and animate aspects of life science, mostly in digital format. Art was always just a hobby, just some odd pencil sketches here and there. I eventually discovered an affinity for pen and ink, and scratched the surface a little with painting. But even in college I continued to pursue science. After working in the lab for a while, I went back to school to learn computer graphics. And though I love the computer as a powerful tool in the arsenal, I retain a special prejudice for traditional art. I have again returned to drawing more (in part thanx to the Sketchbook Project). Struck with the gardening bug, I have also expanded to the ornamental landscape, transforming my home into a living canvas.
