My work explores the the humanistic, spiritual, ecological, and political implications of that within our culture which is often considered obsolete or peripheral--outdated texts, anonymous inscriptions on our landscape, natural "waste" and processes, and objects lost and found. Utilizing the processes inherent to sculpture, installation, drawing, video, and photography, I take a minimalist approach to my interventions, with an interest in emphasizing the intrinsic poetic properties of the materials at hand.
