Elly Wright

I was born and grew up in the Netherlands, but have lived in Britain for many years. My grandfather, an avid art lover, introduced me at an early age to Amsterdam's art galleries and museums, where we were frequent visitors. My formal art education and own practice began at a later stage in life, when painting soon became a passion. Since 1993 it has occupied all my time. I studied drawing and painting at the City Literature Institute in London and obtained a BA Honours in the Practice and Theory of Visual Arts at Chelsea College of Art and Design. Every year I live and work in France for several months. Life is full of many things to do each and every day, but hopefully you are doing what you love....ART. I plan on attending the Washington DC sketchbook show in April - will take photos and post here or have a facebook link just for that...take care and have fun creating -it's snowing here today in Maryland.

		tamsindraws over 1 year Thanks for the lovely comment. Not a fraud at all. I hope you're still intending to finish it? It will still be catalogued in the Art Library if you post it late. I only finished mine by taking it apart, halving the pages and re-binding it. I didn't like the paper quality much and I tend to sometimes leave things until the last minute. Hope to see lots more of your work. :) X Tamsin.
