Ontario, CanadaDuring the warmer weather, I can usually be found sketching/painting at our local zoo/parks/ somewhere along the River Road/Millennium Trail. The visitors are usually curious as to what is being drawn or painted...so you have to be prepared for interruptions. Also, I usually carry a small sketchbook to sketch in while waiting for my meals while @ restaurants.
I've now converted a spare bedroom into a Drafting Room which has a good size North window so I can enjoying looking outdoors while I'm creating. Also, I have a rather large Art Studio in my basement for doing all my actual painting...though, perhaps a bit to close to the wine in my Rec Room fridge. (Bit of artist's humour in that last line. lol)

damien james 4 monthsHello again! Honestly, creating art on the stages of grief isn't something I've considered before, but I think it's something I could put some sincere effort into at some point in the future, as I have no doubt had my share fo grief to deal with. It's a good idea... And thank you again for sharing your thoughts. For more direct communication, you can always feel free to email me at notjackkerouac@yahoo.com I'm happy to talk at greater length there, and I'm rarely on the Sketchbook Project site these days... Be well and stay true. |

damien james 5 monthsHello, you. I just want to thank you for the kind words. Always surprising when people stumble across my drawings or thoughts and feel compelled to share something of themselves. For that I sincerely thank you. There is much more art, and plenty of writing, on my flickr page. Feel free to take a look sometime: www.flickr.com/photos/damienjames Take care, and happy new year, lady!
