It's in Portuguese, but I think you will understand.

I use a classical, academic way of drawing and painting the human figure, but I developed a more funtional way to obtain good results:

- Choose someone's picture

- Enlarge the face to A4 size and print it

- Fill the back of the paper printed and fill it with graphyte

- Put this printed paper on a card paper, watercolor paper or canvas

- Draw on the printed paper, carefully defining borders, light, middle-tone and dark areas.

- Erase darker lines.

- Start painting from light to darker tones, and finally the details.

When you finish one work like this, please post it and inform me. I'll visit you and comment.
