Chelsey Hyatt
Orlando, FL www.chelseyhyatt.blogspot.comI believe art can be accurate and honest, without sacrificing whimsy or magic. This belief is consistent for any logic I apply to anything. I explore the origins of my friends and other organisms through storytelling, and stitching. I want to understand physics, and biology, and the mystery of those is a current to my tube. I bring my camera down the river, and never use my flash. The older I get, the more pleasantly surprised I am each moment I realize I can be pleasantly surprised. I don't mind the occasional shock, either. Past influences include Frida Kahlo, Flannery O'Connor, and William Morris. These days, I more closely identify with Richard Dawkins, and the Jamestown S Klallam Tribe. I am looking forward to learning more about General Systems Theory, Cybernetics, and the Multiverse. The anthropic principle, in my opinion, is at the same time flawless, and a bit of a cop out. I want to know why our universe started with such low entropy, and I hope that concrete evidence of a previous universe surfaces before I am done, here...or unaware of where I am. Currently, I am in Australia on a work/holiday visa.

Elly Wright about 2 yearsI know what you mean about the 'getting lost in it'. It is great to have contact and share interests with people all over the world, but it also can take over your life. Let's make more art and be less computer-bound.... |
