Hazel Jarvis grew up in England but moved to New York in the 1983. During the 1990s Hazel lived in Tokyo, Japan and studied traditional Japanese painting with Shoko Ohta, a fourth generation Japanese Artist.  The highly decorative Japanese approach to nature has been a strong influence on her work. In 1999 Hazel relocated to Connecticut where she now works and teaches.  Her work is held in the Hunt Collection for Botanical Illustration, Carnegie-Mellon.

Still not sure about my final choice. Uncharted Waters looks like a really interesting theme but am tempted by Time Travel. Looking back since I love museums....

I'm currently trying to decide my theme this year. I think I'm going with Uncharted Waters, 80% sure. What are you picking?
