Since 2008 I focus on drawing, with pencil and ink. Although I created a paper installation in a project in Denmark in July/August 2009. I live in Karlstad, in Sweden, participate in the local art scene, being member of the boards of local art organisations. I finished my education 2003 in Dundee, Scotland, bach. degree in sculpture. Before that I studied five years at a prep. school in Gothenburg in Sweden, doing painting, printmaking and sculpture. I like to explore different methods and materials. I also produce puppet theatre together with my sister www.fridasdockteater.se (web page in Swedish). Priority now is ink drawing, and its possibilities which I love to explore!

		Gray about 2 years Hi! Wnat to know something odd? I just bought a flat recently too... well, I bet it is not as fantastic as your house... I can imagine how wonderful it will be. The flat I got will be fantsatic- I will finally have some space to spread my art things out. The only flaw of a small compact flat is that you have no chance to let things stay out and gather inspiration.... go quickly to the art area and carry on where you left off. I am pretty excited too!! Is there any way I can see your little piece of heaven?? I have a dream one day to live by the sea. I have time and I will get there!! Oh! Writing a book? How fantastic.... let me know how it comes along. I remember this crazy one I stole from my nephew a while back- if only I could remember the Author... It was about this cat and it had the best drawings through the book- every double page was really strikingly illustrated- a little dark, just black and white. Sometimes one page would only have a sentence and it would be just black. Fantastic. Will it be something like that? Schjerfbeck is wonderful. I love her handling of people. It is so stylish and yet very sensitive. Something I would love to achieve... I was really pleased when I got that for 6 Euros!! I have to admit I had never heard of her before I found the book in the flea market- my friend wants a copy too but alas not easy to find! Good luck with your new house!! 		Gray about 2 years Ah! Wow, it has been a while since I have braved to come back to the site as they took a while to get it back up again. Well done guys- I bet that was a mamoth task!! Great to hear from you! Hope that you are well!! The weather is great now... all the leaves are out now and it is so pretty. I come home and sit on the terrace and just relax. I love to hear the birds and see the leaves. It is so relaxing!! Just the other day I saw some swallows and I knew that it was summer. I am just so happy- I even found myself humming on the underground to the surprise and worry of fellow passengers!! I won a monthly sketch book- I haven't had so much time to fill it out but I am getting there. I decided to make it with a friend- she does the back and I do the front- or she does the front and I do the back (it just depends on how you have the sketch book!) The theme of it is 'This is where I Live' I am finding space in my flat that are odd or fun. Somehow, the spaces alwys have plants in it. Maybe it is a subconcious thing! There is a flea market on today and I am going to go!! I love flea markets- the last one in my area I went to I found a really wonderful art book- the artist 'Helene Schjerfbeck' but I don't understand a word! I really just bought it for the pictures!! I love the way she draws faces and people. So I am rubbing my little paws together hoping that I find something else good. Art books can be so expensive!!

I've considered doing a site with them; the other artists are quite good there. I have a new piece on my personal site that I need to post in Art House, but this site has been down so long, and seems to still be under construction.
		Elly Wright about 2 years Great to hear from you. I am delighted that we can stay in touch with our art friends again. I have found Gray and Nancy Martini on Facebook and we have been in contact. Also, (in case you did not know) there is a facebook website http://www.facebook.com/share_options.php#!/arthousecoop?ref=share and some of us have found each other on that, at the same time moaning about being off line for such a long time!

		Elly Wright over 2 years Hi Johan, No, I am not doing the fiction project. Have too many other commitments at present. However, I had a look at the blog - on 1 Feb. 2010 they said: Fiction Books to go out this week! 'After the long and annoying delay, all of the fiction books are going out this week. We finally got the books and all the supplies we need to mail them out. As soon as Shane finally finishes his drive to NYC, him and I will get those out asap!
