Krista Kozel

I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a B.F.A. in Studio Art and a M.A. in Communication. Over the last 10 years, I have had the amazing opportunity to travel and learn about art in Prague, Glasgow, Chicago, and the badlands of America's SouthWest. It has been my pleasure to show artwork both locally in New Mexico, nationally, and internationally. I find myself continually intrigued by the "borders" between art, culture, and communication. I love art and its ability to speak through barriers and address their complex nature. The artworks I create are layered mixed media pieces. I get my inspiration from the different communities I have connected with while traveling. When you get to know me, you will see that I am always re-emerging. I am new to the Art House Co-op.
