Kristi O'Meara

Kristi O’Meara received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009 from Kansas City Art Institute, where is majored in the Painting department. She is currently living in Chicago, IL and working as a studio assistant for fiber artist, Nick Cave.

Her designs exist somewhere between the lines of a kente cloth and a 3D Magic Eye. Her work explores the realms of visual depth by weaving intricate layers of hand-drawn patterning into compositions that are both optically challenging and mentally invigorating to the viewer.
