Hello Leah :) I wanted to first comment that I really love your work on this project - the colors are wonderful as well as the textures! I also enjoyed reading your descriptions of your pieces as to how you approached the words given to you. In response to your questions, I get some of my inspiration from my past, nature, magazines, other people's artwork and from architecture, but most of the time they just pop out at me from nowhere... I'll think about something (in this case the words) and then at the most random moment I'll visualize something that, to me, works. I'm still trying to pin down the (best?) sources of inspiration that work for me, but the more I work on my art the closer I feel I get.
