I read your mini bio, and thought to myself "i wonder what i have going for me" so i looked at my cluttered desk, and...a set of malformed ceramic doll limbs, a plastic toy bat i found on the street, an empty shrine I made and never filled, and a dried up bottle of glue...oh, and a blue marker.

Hello,

You should defiinitely check out CIA.  However, when I attended it was a 5 year school and now they have shortened it to only 4 years.  The 5 year aspect is what really drew me to the school and now that is gone. It is still has an excellent program and I really enjoyed my experience there.  I unfortunately can't tell you too much about the new foundation classes since that is mainly what they've changed.  

So you're interested in Illustration?  Okay, here is a tip for CIA:  Don't actually go into Illustration as a major.  Go into Drawing and take Illustration classes.  At least this is what the majority of illustrators did while I was there.  And after looking at some of your work, I have to say you look like an excellent candidate for Printmaking.  You should definitely take some print classes wherever you go.
