I am sorry this has taken three months to get to you. I found out the day before the show came to Austin that my cancer is back. The Austin Show was great. I posted some pics on their FB page.

Thanks for the info on searching for sketchbooks!  I have added a blurb to my bio.  I thank you for trying to search for me.  Admittedly, I only got through about five pages because of my busy schedule during the project, but I think they turned out okay.  I scanned most of them; I'll have to post them.

Wow, Matt, thanks for the comment.  I have so many books I'd like to see and only usernames!  I've added my own name and will go back and check to see if others have their full, real name as well.  I bet a lot don't!

Arthouse linked to an article about the show and it did mention that people aren't allowed access to the shelves; that "runners" go and pick out a couple of books for you.  That did make me wonder if one could get a specific book at all.  But okay, we can with real full name.  NOT very well thought out, I must say!  Disappointing too.  I had hoped to browse the shelves, not wait for a runner to fetch my books for me... but I guess they have such big crowds it would be impossible to handle otherwise,.  When the show goes back to Brooklyn I'm sure things will be different.  Hmmmm.... my next visit to NY in this lifetime.... SIGH.

Hi Matt - thanks for checking out my book. Unfortunately I was not able to go today. I may take a trip to another location and will check out your book (being sure to have your full name!) I went to the opening in Brooklyn and I know what you mean about the checkout process. Opening night was packed there! Glad lots of people are attending these.
