Mercy Rock

I started drawing fashion when I was in my teens, but I never quite mastered drawing the human figure. These days creating is my passion... whether drawing, sewing, knitting, making jewelry, or gardening, if I can be creative I am happy. I like rich, bold colors, like the ones in Haitian paintings. Conversely, I enjoy pencil sketches and charcoal drawings. My favorite subjects are nature, New England landscapes, and old cars. I am a runner, so I have plenty of time to take it all in and get ideas for my next project. There are not enough hours in my day for everything I want to do.

I also enjoy sewing, making jewelry, gardening and I have taken several pictures of some old truck that I can't wait to paint! Like you, I can't seem to find enough time to do everything I want to do. Can't understand how some people can complain that they're bored. That will never be me!
