Donna Drozda over 2 yearsI have so enjoyed visiting your website and seeing the art of the patrons you teach and spend time with ...what a wonderful facility it appears to be. The art that is happening looks joyful...my eye really loved the house quilt squares...and I wondered if they were all going to be joined into a large quilt at some point. |

J. KOSHAREK almost 3 yearsMRZ--got the work and blogged it--did you see it yet? Been so busy that I'm just finding the time to write to you!! www.jenniferzoe.blogspot.com I'm having interactive tables at the show and thought it would be neat to have some group mail art--would it be okay if I picked your students to send mail art to from those that come to the opening? Let me know! |

J. KOSHAREK almost 3 yearsIf you'd like to send me one package with a bunch of your students work--that would be fine. The only rules I have for mail art is--nothing X-rated or mean spirited. It's a child friendly show. (Is that what you where getting around to with the cancellation? What would be neat would be to do a faux cancellation--which you can get online at the Olaf poste or at a local craft shop like Michaels or you could draw your own... just an idea...oh--also have a faux stamp--a small image or sticker that you place in that upper right hand corner!!) Do what you would like! Participation is key. |

J. KOSHAREK almost 3 yearsNext year all 3 will be in school... I previously homeschooled. 2 will be in a school for the arts and one will be in Middle school Gifted program. So I should have those school hours to do art. But I'm the kind of person who doesn't take a break... I probably keep myself too busy... |

J. KOSHAREK almost 3 yearsI got started in mail art in highschool--I went to a high school for the arts. So I'm guessing a teacher passed along a mail art invite. I lived overseas in Jordan as a teacher--teaching art to children with mental handicaps. So I had a mail art show when I lived there as I thought it would be a good way to get various art into the kid's lives! (broaden their horizons and experiences) Then I had 3 kids... and life took over... Two years ago I reclaimed my identity and started sending mail art again.... Mail art let me to arthouse coop--via someone's mail art blog. This is my second annual mail art show. So it's something I hope to keep up with. Thanks for asking---you got the long version of the story! www.jenniferzoe.blogspot.com |

J. KOSHAREK almost 3 yearsI find your group works exciting. I think it's wonderful to join together and make something... even if it's temporary. But, isn't everything? Thanks for sharing! You should do a group sketchbook for the new project... just a thought. |
