Sherilyn Carol

I am getting back into art after a long lay off, of career and child-rearing, but I am happy to be "creating" again. I like to paint mainly with acrylics (I don't have a lot of patience for drying time), but I want to learn to use oils later as well. I also draw with prismacolor pencils and "wash" the drawing with chemicals to make it look like a paining. Still learning this technique with Alyona Nichelsen - she is fantastic! I also am getting into pastels, just learning now. I have been makng jewelry for 7 years and have sold a good amount of it (and have a huge stash for myself)! 		Gloria J Zucaro over 2 years Hi Sherilyn451, i too jsut jumped into art full force when all my children were married and I was divorced! But even before had creative out lets with sewing curtains, clothes, quilts. Interior design, creative decorations handmade for holidays, funny birthday cakes for the kids when small. Just can't not create! All the artists I've met in the last 5 years are so giving of their expertise and encouragement. It is a great life!
		Mariam Muradian about 3 years Sherilyn, sounds like your creative juices never stopped flowing, just manifested in other things. It is about that creative aesthetic that permeates the life of the artist...nothing is not touched by it! How blessed are we to do what we love?!
