I am getting back into art after a long lay off, of career and child-rearing, but I am happy to be "creating" again.  I like to paint mainly with acrylics (I don't have a lot of patience for drying time), but I want to learn to use oils later as well.  I also draw with prismacolor pencils and "wash" the drawing with chemicals to make it look like a paining.  Still learning this technique with Alyona Nichelsen - she is fantastic!  I also am getting into pastels, just learning now.  I have been makng jewelry for 7 years and have sold a good amount of it (and have a huge stash for myself)!  Best of luck to all of you, I'd love to see your work.  My yahoo address is sherilyn451@yahoo.com and yahoo id is sherilyn451.  Look forward to hearing from you!  Cheers!
