I grew up in rural Alaska, but now I've made it to the big city, living and freezing in Anchorage.  I am fortunate to be the product of an artistic clan. My family includes painters, potters, carvers, and a whole bunch of good cooks!  I try every form of art that I find materials for.  Currently, I'm spending most of my time making jewelry, doing sort-of collages, and scribbling colors, but I veer off into other attempts all the time.   Shakespeare said, "The object of art is to give life a shape."  I couldn't agree more.
