Sonia Silva

I am a self taught artist just beginning my creative journey. I was born in Portugal and raised in an artistic atmosphere, thanks to the influence of my mother who also paints wonderfully. I practiced ballet for several years, played the piano, sang, wrote poetry, etc. I love everything that is art related! I love to draw and paint and I also have a great passion for interior design. Since a very early age, I have a great interest in houses and its decoration. I’m just so happy when I am moving to a new house, just because I have the chance to visit several houses before deciding which one would I take and because I have the chance to decorate it all over again! However, art was gradually putted aside during my university studies and today I am divided into two different worlds. I have a left brained career, but in my heart and soul I am an artist. I am realizing that art is in my nature and I will do everything to develop my artistic skills and to pursue this creative path.
