<!--StartFragment--> I was born and raised in Los Angeles but now live and work in San Francisco. Art has always been a passion of mine; I’m trying to show the viewer that beauty can be found in places that we ordinarily wouldn’t look.  Most of my work is non-representational due to the abstraction of color, shapes, typography and forms of overlapping textures. Living in San Francisco has had a major impact on my work. Decaying walls, shipyards, industrial sites, and buildings that have been abandoned have all been a big influence. The aging, rust and marks on these surfaces are what I find fascinating and inspiring.   <!--EndFragment-->     <!--EndFragment-->

Hi, I like your work a lot. The layers and text hint at a past - a layered history which is pretty much what my work is about too!

Hello! :-) If you are in or near San Fran and get a chance to go to the travelling Sketchbook project, would you check out my 16 year old nieces work. Her name is Victoria (Tori)Ziege from Granger Indiana and her project is entitled "not a sketchbook" Wishing you the best! One love!

Really like the way you have attacked your theme creating texture through layering and manipulation of the pages, then filled it from the heart!

Great depth and texture to the work. The one's with type have an added dimension to them.

I love the depth of your work.... I also find it amusing you have burn marks and managed not to set your whole book on fire!!- really effective!
