Leisa Luis Grill almost 3 yearsWonderful work. It's somewhere between brooding and whimsical at once. The muted tones are very rich. As an acrylic painter, I would have to say that no one has rejected my work because it is acrylic--it is still a valid medium. I have tried the water-based oils and I like them, too. I also don't think that ALL acrylic is toxic. Certain colors have more toxic qualities in the elements used to make them. If anything, oil-based media is more toxic and water-based olis are no less toxic. You need to check the labels very carefully for their rating. |

Uriel Dana about 3 yearsI love your work...you have a wonderful sense of composition and color. My professional advise would be to drop acrylics and switch to a water based oil (windsor newtons makes one) if you are looking for a fast drying medium. You're work is too good to use acrylics (acrylics have a shorter shelf life, are mercury toxic, and collectors will pay more for oils). |
