    I paint for joy and it is a stress buster to me!
    I am not a trained artist but people ask me whether I can take classes! This always amuses me.
    I started painting seriously at the age of 60 that too after a serious road accident.
    Now there is nothing to look forward except the satisfaction I get seeing a painting finished to my satisfaction and framed and hanged! If someone wants to buy, welcome!
    My motto is to live for today!We dont know what is waiting for us the next moment!

		LAARA WILLIAMSEN over 2 years Usha! How wonderful to hear from you. Yes, the nude was painted with my fingers and from a male model in a studio with my students also painting! I did this in about 15 minutes! I am hoping that you can begin to paint soon. Sometimes when I have been away from painting, I just need to play for a little while. Almost like a youngster scribbling! This allows my process to begin as I'm not concerned with the painting outcome just the process. I wish you all the very best and hope to stay in touch. 		LAARA WILLIAMSEN over 2 years Hi Usha! I love to get your messages! Just think we are so far apart yet have so much to share! You asked if I used a knife in my paintings. No I don't but I do use my fingers! I now wear surgical gloves because I think the oil paint is bad for me. I love to use lots of paint and the paintings are really thick and textured. I noticed that in your bio you mentioned people ask if you will do classes. I want to encourage you to share 'syour joy for painting with others. I began a small studio before I ever went to art college over 30 years ago. And even through art college and ever since I share my joy at each person's abilities! It is so important to just give the person permission and acceptance. I often ask my students, "are you happy with your art?' Then they will say yes or no and I can proceed. If it is no then I can offer some choices about composition; balance, rhythm, color and tone! Anyway, everyone can paint just like everyone can sing.
